In the worst case scenario rubber bushings are worn to the point where especially under heavy loads spring plates get into contact with cover plates. So in order to maintain rear-end stability, handling and ride quality, 911, 912, 356 A/B spring plate bushings should be in perfect condition.
These spring plate bushings are made out of stiffer rubber and are perfect for sport / motorsport applications. The stiffer rubber gives less deflection while driving, but at the same time still keeps characteristics and flexibility of the rubber, which makes the bushings longer lasting. Due to the rubber, the driving does not provide any clunking noises and overall gives drivers a much more comfortable driving experience. Spring plate bushings are designed and manufactured in Europe.
